Brand is the secret sauce that in the digital world separates the good from better,  best, and from the elite.

By definition, brand is the unique identity of your business. Your products, people, services, values, and culture, these are all add up to make your business unique and stand out from the market.

How you make people feel about your brand would differentiate you from you competition.

  • Brand is the effort of a company to successfully build "Differentiated Value" in order to satisfy and create “Emotional value" for customers.
  • It is the image and product consciousness created in the mind of consumers.
  • A shortcut for customer retention.
  • The sum of the connections in the consumer's mind about it, and the customer's emotional connection.
  • A strategic asset of the business.

Answer these questions:

1. How does it make you feel?

2. What kind of emotions does it stir up on you?

3. Does the video ads made you feel connected to the brand?

  1. What are your three favourite Brands?
    Write in the comments below why they’re your favourite and how they make you feel.
  2. Next, go out onto the web and find a piece of creative that captures that feeling or emotion. Write down your thoughts in a Google Doc, and make sure to tell us why you love this content and what emotion it evokes.
