Welcome to FNS40217 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
This course reflects the job roles of workers in the accounting industry, including BAS Agents and contract bookkeepers; and of those employees performing bookkeeping tasks for organisations in a range of industries. It includes preparing and lodging business and instalment activity statements, and providing advice or dealing with the Commissioner on behalf of a taxpayer in relation to activity statements. Individuals in these roles apply theoretical and specialist knowledge and skills to work autonomously and exercise judgement in completing routine and non-routine activities.
Throughout this course, you will be presented with written information, case studies, learning activities, short videos and templates. There will be additional resources in the form of links, however, all information in each module is imperative for your assessment.
You will be exposed to a cloud-based accounting programs that are commonly used in the finance industry and is a leading service provider across Australia and New Zealand. Exercises, tutorials and opportunities to practice using the program will be provided as part of the learning experience.
