In this lesson, we'll explore the key things you need to develop a strong brand. Beyond the visible elements of logo, colour and type, you'll run a SWOT analysis to uncover insights about your own brand. We’ll explore the use of 'brand language' to match the personality of your brand and finish up with an introduction to Mailchimp – an excellent contact management platform you can get started with for free.
Your practical activity for this lesson will be to draft some on-brand content for your own social media campaign.
Let's set up some profiles!
The work you complete in this practical may also be applied to Assessment 2.
- Set up your brand profiles for 2 social media platforms. You may choose any platforms.
- Make sure the profiles communicate the brand's:
- USP
- Values
- Culture
Profiles should be accurate representations of how they will display on the chosen social media platforms: either set up actual profiles or create accurate mockups.
Post screenshots or mockups to your thread in the Practicals Forum.
Please include the title "Practical 8: Social Media Brand Profiles" in your post.
