Conversion Rate Optimisation or CRO literally means making your conversion rates as good as possible. That involves putting systems in place that help you get the right people onto your website, and turn them into loyal customers.

To do that you need to really understand your customers, and your website needs to be quick and easy to use so that they have an awesome user experience.

  • Cross Browser Testing - Did you know that different web browsers sometimes display your website differently? With Cross Browser testing, you can make sure your website behaves like it should across all browsers.
  • Mobile & Responsive Testing - Your website should work just as well on mobile as it does on a computer - if not better! Here’s how you can test that out.
  • Accessibility Testing - Learn how to make sure your website is accessible for your entire audience, including people who have disabilities or face other challenges with access.
  • A/B Testing - Would a discount pop-up increase your conversion rate? What if your “buy now” button was bigger? A/B testing lets you test out those theories before you commit.
  • Using colour psychology - Research has proven that colours actually make a massive difference to the effectiveness of your website. This blog post will help you tap into the psychology of colour.
  • Post a short summary of CRO points you have found interesting to your thread in the Module 7 Practicals Forum.
