A key way of strengthening your brand in the minds of your customers is creating a visual identity. A visual identity is a design aesthetic that’s unique to you and consistent across all elements of your brand: from your logo and wordmark, to your website and social media, all the way to your emails and invoices.
Fortunately, you don’t have to be a designer to create a visual identity. An incredibly popular design tool used by thousands of brands is Canva. It’s full of really useful templates and even has a logo maker.
Canva is free, but you can pay for CanvaPro which unlocks some premium features.
- Sign up to Canva for a free trial
- Head to the Brands section to create your own brand!
- Upload a image or logo, change the colours as you like or use Hex codes
- Select a template and create a presentation using your logo colours or image
- Create a letterhead that’s on brand with your logo or image
- Post your branded letterhead to your thread in the Module 5 Practicals Forum.
