In this module, you will be presented with the skills and knowledge required to prepare and document operational budgets for a variety of organisations.
It applies to individuals who use specialised knowledge and systematic approaches to undertake strategic financial activity for an organisation. The knowledge covered in this module is included but not limited to:
- Key principles of budgetary control
- Range of forecasting techniques used when preparing operational budgets
- Key principles of statistical analysis and measures of variance in the context of financial data analysis and operational budgets
- Key features of organisational policies and procedures for financial administration as they relate to budgeting.
Throughout this module, you will be presented with activities for you to practice your knowledge and understanding in the learning checkpoints to prepare you to undertake the assessments.
Activities will be presented in these sub-topics for you to complete. At times, you may be required to download additional documents to complete the tasks.
At the end of this module, you will be required to undertake assessments assuming the role of a Junior Accountant at Ace Finance.
