Welcome to CHCECE046 & CHCECE045 Behaviour and Inclusion

This module will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to create engaging learning experiences and promote children's holistic development and well-being in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. You will explore strategies for designing and implementing programs that cater to children's diverse needs and interests.

CHCECE046 - Implementing a Program of Planned Experiences

This module focuses on the development and implementation of engaging and effective learning programs for young children in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. You will explore strategies for designing experiences that cater to children's diverse needs and interests.

Key topics include:

  • Curriculum Development: Understanding how to create a curriculum that supports holistic development and aligns with relevant frameworks.
  • Planning and Implementation: Learning how to plan, implement, and evaluate educational experiences that foster children's learning and development.
  • Inclusive Practices: Recognising the importance of including all children and considering their individual needs, backgrounds, and abilities.
  • Observation and Assessment: Exploring methods for observing and assessing children's learning to inform your programming.

CHCECE045 - Foster the Holistic Development and Wellbeing of the Child

This module is designed to help you understand and support the holistic development and wellbeing of children in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. You will learn how to create environments that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key topics include:

  • Holistic Development: Exploring the interconnectedness of various areas of development and how they influence each other.
  • Wellbeing Practices: Understanding strategies to promote emotional and social wellbeing in young children.
  • Family and Community Engagement: Learning the importance of involving families and communities in supporting children's development and wellbeing.
  • Creating Supportive Environments: Examining how to create physical and emotional environments that nurture children’s growth.
     

These units will provide you with the tools needed to implement meaningful programs and foster children's holistic development and wellbeing, ultimately benefiting the children and families you serve.
