Yoobee uses a variety of systems student management, student information, emailing, communicating with Yoobee teams and recording student achievement information.

SELMA (Student Enrolment & Learning Management Application) is a web-based application that manages Yoobee students’ data.
SELMA’s core applications are:
- Curriculum Management
- Student Management
- Intakes
- Enrolments, marking, and outcomes (assessments, course/programme completion)
- Attendance
- Reporting (internally and externally)
Selma’s information is powered by the CRM and in turn powers PowerBI data/reports.
A Yoobee Online tutor and Learning Support will use Selma for recording:
- Student communication (by them, to them)
- Assessment issues (extensions approved, resubmission dates)
- Flagging of learning support/pastoral care issues as a result of emails/messages
A User Manual for Selma training material is in the drop-down menu under your profile, once you have signed into Selma.

PLEASE NOTE: SELMA is currently being linked to the Yoobee Online platform currently. Assessment grades for the 2023 intakes will transfer into SELMA after marking. Just keep an eye on things.

PowerBI is a business analytics service by Microsoft. It provides interactive visualisations of business data and has an interface that allows the viewer to create their own reports and dashboards.
Yoobee Online uses it for:
- Tracking student engagement in Yoobee Online
- Tracking student course and qualification completion
- Student enrolment numbers
A Yoobee Online tutor will use PowerBI:
- To have an overall review of engagement with Yoobee Online
- In coordination with the Touchpoint plan to see if more support needed to be offered.
- To have an overall review of assessment submissions
Current (May 2023), there are three great reports to utilise in the Workspace/Yoobee Online. Hint: click the backwards green arrow, top right to reset the report.
🔎 Student Management/Student Activity: Search by the individual student's name to find out what the student has been doing, times and days logged in, assessment and grades received, and a cool line graph showing activity.
🔎 Assessment Performance/Assessment Tutor View: Filter by programmes/intakes to see the intake's activity within each course and each assessment. Interesting to note the average days to grade.
🔎 Online Learning Engagement Dashboard/Engagement Detail (report is called Login Engagement): Filter by year, programme and intakes. Ensure the enrollment is set to Enrolled, Opportunity Statue is Confirmed and Opportunity State is Open. This shows the weekly log in for the student's in the intake. Great to note inactivity quickly to raise aflag of concern. NB: week dates are in the clickable circled i.

Yoobee takes the security of our company very seriously, so have made available a series of Cyber Security workshops and accompanying information.
Please take the time to read over and ensure you have a thorough knowledge of the current cyber security risks and ways to mitigate these risks.
Often they are presented at the monthly Campus team meeting.

Office365 is a suite of apps that Yoobee uses to stay connected, create content/reports, track issues, store documents etc. Some of the apps you will know, some will be new. Whatever the situation is, there is training available on how to use the app to its best.
Apps in the Yoobee Online suite:
All the apps in OFFICE 365 can either be used in the browser (after logging in from the homepage) or in the app (after downloading onto your computer and logging in)
Use your Yoobee log in username and password
All apps have an information page, where you can find an overview, training on how to use and tips to utilise.

The storage space for your documents, creations. Saving it here means you have access to the material from anywhere, saving content on your laptop’s desktop means it is based only on your laptop’s desktop. Saving into My Documents automatically syncs to your One Drive. |
